In Indiana Hillary Clinton won by less than 25,000 votes. This comes during a concerted campaign by Rush Limbaugh who encouraged his listeners, all conservative Hillary haters, to register as democrats and vote for Clinton. He calls this strategy Operation Chaos. His theory is that the longer the democrats fight each other and the nastier the fighting gets the more damage will be done and McCain will be able to sail through the general election.
This tactic seemed to work in Texas where Hillary received the press as being the state's winner but after all the votes were counted from primaries and caucuses Obama ended up winning the state and the majority of its delegates.
Now exit polling shows that Limbaugh's call to his Republican listeners produced far more than the 2% margin of victory. This is an example of dirty politics, probably illegal, from the "anything-to-win" disgusting side of the American political spectrum - the conservatives.
Before you decry my pronouncement with typical "liberals will do it to" ca-cawing, please find me one example of any Republican primary election swayed by actions from Democratic voters. Just one. It isn't true that both sides of the political aisle are the same when it comes to corruption. One side is just wrong and this is another example.

Ha ha, it's funny that this is your post today. Yesterday driving in the car with hubby he had his normal AM station on. I was listening to what I thought was Rush Limbaugh... But then all of a sudden a lady called up and was yelling at him for "endorsing" Hillary Clinton. Well then I was confused and I asked Matt who we were listening to. He replied Rush Limbaugh. I said "he's endorsing Hillary Clinton?" Then he went on to explain the Operation Chaos. I then took charge of the radio.
It's crazy... For sure.

Just because SOME conservatives will do that doesn't mean that ALL conservatives are dirty and will do anything to win. Though it's your blog, so you're allowed to make sweeping generalizations. ;)

Did you just say Hillary is exempted from being called corrupt because she's in the Democratic party?
McCain's a Democrat too. Is he not corrupt?

SillyNut, you just absolved yourself of all responsibility. How fucking convenient. When are you conservatives, who claim that corrupt lying bastards like Rush Limbaugh don't speak for you and their actions aren't right, going to speak up against the Karl Rove - Rush Limbaugh - Sean Hannity - Bill O'Reilly faction of your party. Until some of you people grow enough of a set to speak out against your appointed spokespersons, then I can accurately make the claim that they are the voice-pieces for the Conservatives of America.
When someone on our side (Hillary, for example) does something I don't approve of, my disapproval is loud and boisterous . . . in fact we'll rip apart supposed liberals when they cross ethical lines. When our guys violate laws, we ask for investigations and have them thrown in jail - when your guys violate laws you claim that it's a mainstream media conspiracy. When our guys get caught with prostitutes, they step down - when your guy does it, he stays in office.
No, you get no free rides on my blog. You are conservative, Rush is yours, and you people tampered with a Democratic Primary Election like third-world stooges.

Rush ain't mine. Just because I'm more conservative than you doesn't mean that I go along with what he and others say. And it doesn't mean that I do any of those things you mentioned either.

Then speak out against him! Speak out against his illegal tampering in an election. Tell him that it's over the line and unAmerican. Tell other conservatives that it's over the line and unAmerican.
