I caught this one a few weeks ago on CG Society (one of my daily reads). At first it looked like one of the many excellent Photoshop paintings they often feature. I was pleasantly surprised to find that rather than it being a 2D painting it actually is a 3D rendering. Given enough time and processor (the scene file has to be a true monster) a fly-through animation could be done of this masterpiece - which, at least for me, makes it an even higher magnitude of amazing.

That's really cool, Reg. I want to simulate a fly-by of that scene.
