Juggling Cats did it again. He's submitting his best post of 2007 to try a new sword on a chance wayfarer and because I want to be just like him, so am I. Before we get to the voting, I just want to say that I poked around Kuri's site and it's quite impressive. I'm adding it to the blogroll and, dammit, to my daily reading list. He does stand-up comedy . .. his routine is well worth the click.
I decided that this was for single posts and as such I ruled out most of my stories, since they are episodic. I think everyone overwhelmingly agrees that Alma the Lamanite was the best of those, which is why I'm turning it into a memoir.
So, narrowing it down to original, single-post entries, I've come up with the following list. Please tell me in comments or email what you like best. I'll send it to Kuri by the weekend.
Well, what are you waiting for?
I'm not even going to predict what you people like the best of those.

Hard choice, bud. But here goes.
1) Past Lives
2) Religious Addiction
3) Sun and Moon.
I hope the delegate race is settled before the convention...

I vote for "The Record Albums" -- pure, beautiful tragedy. It made me want to go listen to Johnny Cash's “Walk the Line” (I don't even know how it goes...).

I can't decide.
This is too hard.
1. Past Lives
2. Sun and Moon
3. The Record Albums
Ok, but then I just read The Record Albums again and it is so good.
My final vote for best ever is The Record Albums.
It is the best.

I hate it when you do this, I like all of them for different reasons and the different feelings/emotions they conjure. ;) I am picking The Moon and the Sun because it was as unique as it was beautiful.

I Have a Dimple
Past Lives
The Moon and Sun
Watch it; some day I might make YOU do the same for ME.

I vote for The Record Albums.
I'm going to put the post up today, BTW, but there's no need to rush your decision. I'll add your link whenever you're ready.

My vote is Religious Addiction, of course. Perhaps because our dads are twins.

Record Albums.

Record Albums is the winner. The Moon and the Sun came in a close second. I had 24 people vote, here or by email, and one by phone.
thanks everyone
